This Week at Morso
This Friday March 16, 2018 from 5-7pm we continue to celebrate Taste Washington Wine Month by featuring The Walls Winery of Walla Walla. Founded in 2013, The Walls Vineyards produces wines made by and for the passionate and the curious. It stems from a collaboration between founders Mike Martin, a Seattle area-based attorney who discovered the Walla Walla Valley and decided to make his future there, and winemaker Ali Mayfield, whose journey years earlier had taken her from Indiana to some of the finest wineries in the Walla Walla Valley and where she established a reputation for producing wines of elegance and refinement. Together they have realized a dream of making wines from "the best vines" from "the best places" in the Pacific Northwest that represent true expressions of the multitude of terroirs and microclimates that define this rich wine producing region. They not only have a new estate vineyard in the Rocks District, they have identified unique vineyards throughout the Pacific Northwest to source fruit for their wines.
Winemaker Ali Mayfield will be here on Friday presenting:
The Walls 2014 Les Jeunes Vignes Chardonnay
The Walls 2015 Lip Stinger Grenache Blanc
The Walls 2014 Ramparts Grenache
The Walls 2014 Stanley Groovey Red Blend
The Walls 2015 Gaspard from Red Mountain
The Walls 2015 Curiositas

We also are serving Corned Beef and Swiss Cheese Sandwiches on Jewish Rye with Russian Dressing for lunch this Friday and Saturday! Check out our regularlunch menu.
